WREXHAM'S now-famous Tapas Restaurant has been visited by yet another familiar face from a well-known film franchise.

Star Wars actress, Femi Taylor, visited the Lisbon Tapas Restaurant during a trip to Wrexham last week, leaving the restaurant yet another wonderful review.

Ever since national food-critic Jay Rayner wrote a deliciously-glowing review in The Guardian about the popular Portuguese dining spot, the place has been busier than usual to say the least.

Femi said: "I have eaten at many restaurants around the world being one of the actresses from Star Wars.

"We were visiting Wrexham for an event. Such delicious food and very friendly staff. Thank you, Femi Taylor."

The review was shared on social media by the restaurant.

Femi, the actress behind the beautiful but ill-feted twi'lek dancer Oola from 'Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi' was visiting Wrexham to attend Wales Comic Con on September, 2 and 3.

She joined Captain Tarpals actor Steven Speirs at the show for a very special weekend of fantasy and sci-fi.

The complimentary review by Jay Rayner left business director and head chef, José Simões, delighted.

He said: "I am very proud of the whole team" while restaurant manager, David Bartolomeu, said local regulars and loyal customers are 'delighted' with the recent media exposure.

David continues: "She took the time to share her experience with us. She told me personally how wonderful the staff was and how much she enjoyed this experience in the restaurant."

If you are looking to see what all the wonderful praise is about, make sure to book a table sooner rather than later.
