Berwyn inmates carried out "revenge" attack on murderer
HMP Berwyn (Image: Staff)This man admitted his part in a "horrendous" assault upon a fellow inmate at HMP Berwyn.
The motivation was one of revenge, the court heard, as the victim had murdered the defendant's cousin.

Dangerous driver seriously injured men near Higher Kinnerton
Mold Law Courts (Image: Staff)This delivery driver turned into a side road, across the path of an oncoming motorbike.
The bike's rider and pillion passenger sustained a number of injuries in the subsequent crash.

Repeat sex offender jailed after collecting and distributing indecent images
Dominic Davey (NWP) (Image: North Wales Police)This man found himself in the dock after police discovered he'd had an unregistered phone and other devices for some five years without telling them.
On the devices, officers found hundreds of indecent images.

Man who stole drill: ‘I probably left it at the pub’

He was said to have been “in a bad place with alcohol” at the time.

Man sentenced for carrying imitation gun and knife in Chirk
McDonald's in Chirk (Google) (Image: Google)In an alarming turn of events, this man was found to be carrying a number of items he shouldn't have been following the conclusion of a police chase.
The pursuit had ended after he approached a roundabout, completely lost a wheel and ended up crashing on a central island.

Wrexham man sentenced after strangling wife and hitting dog
Mold Law Courts (Image: Staff)This man was described as having "short temper" - which had been gradually getting worse.
As well as subjecting his wife to abusive and violent behaviour, he punched their five-month-old border collie in the head and stomach.
"You have a very real opportunity now to put all of this behind you," a Judge told him.
