AFTER MONTHS of planning a brand new upscale and authentic wine bar has opened its doors in the heart of Wrexham.

At 7pm today (Friday, April 12) 'Vault 33' located at 33 High Street, Wrexham, was due to open to the public.

Swapping the pitch for the pints, the bar is owned by sportsman and former AFC player Neil Roberts who is taking on the hospitality business for the very first time.

After receiving bar training from establishments across Wrexham including the Turf, Golden Lion and Pant Yr Orchain, Neil is ready to embark on his new and exciting venture.

He said: “‘We at Vault33 have dreamt about this moment for a long time now and it’s fair to say that it’s not been plain sailing but thankfully we each have been blessed with the most amazing families & friends around us to support without whom we couldn’t be at this point today.

The Leader:

"Our focus has always been to offer a unique, safe and welcoming environment by ensuring that our service, presentation & quality levels are of the highest standard possible."

As well as an impressive partnership AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney's business 'Four Walls Whiskey', Vault 33 is proudly supported by Aber Falls Distillery.

The distillery has already been a dedicated partner in the set up of the new bar, including funding the mural in the ‘whisky snug’, and will continue to support Vault33 in their exciting journey.

Nail continues: "Vault33 is a family that wants to keep growing and improving each and everyday. In order to do this we needed to find partners with the same principles and beliefs so in ‘Aber Falls’ we feel that we’ve done exactly that.

"A brand that transcends across Local, National & International markets and we look forward to joining them on that journey. Exciting times ahead on all fronts.”

Carole Jones, General Manager at Aber Falls said: "The launch of this stunning bar an exciting venture for hospitality in North Wales and we look forward to continue supporting the team at Vault33 going forward.”
