A TALENTED Wrexham artist has started work on his latest mural project located just outside the famous Racecourse.

Artist Liam Stokes-Massey has finally started working on his latest design and Wrexham AFC fans are eager to see the finished result.

Situated on a fence outside the Turf pub next to the Stok Cae Ras on Mold Road, there have been many suggestions as to what the proposed mural will be.

Liam has previously illustrated the Paul Mullin mural on the side wall of the Fat Boar pub building and more recently the tremendous Elliot Lee design inside the Wrexham Revival store.

For his latest masterpiece, Liam was approached by the Turf landlord himself, Wayne Jones.

Sourcing inspiration from Wrexham AFC photographer Rob Stead, Liam and Wayne are keeping the illustration a secret until it's time for the final reveal.

Liam said: "I'm chuffed to be working with the brilliant Rob Stead once again for reference photos and to bring a bit of *enthusiasm* to these gates. Looking forward to it!"
