Phil Green

When and why did you take up photography?

I have always had a keen interest in photography, which progressed when my eldest child was born in 2014. From then onwards my interest grew further and my hobby developed into a business.

What do you love about taking pictures?

I love learning new skills and get an adrenaline rush from it. Capturing moments that can be looked back on forever.

Where is your favourite place to take pictures?

I really enjoy exploring North Wales and its scenery. I love Llangollen, especially Dinas Bran and Panorama for viewing the sunset.

What equipment do you use?

I used Sony cameras, and have a Sony A7Riv, A7iv, A7iii and a A7ii. I also use a DJI mini 3 drone.

What do you enjoy about being part of the Leader Camera Club?

I love being able to share my images and also see what others have taken photos of too. I love that every photographer has their own style and view on the same subject matter.

If you could photograph anyone or any place who/what would it be?

I would absolutely love to photograph Wrexham AFC at the Racecourse as it's my home team. I already photograph lots of football and other sports matches, so this would be the icing on the cake!

Anything else you think we should know?

I am a wedding photographer alongside my wife, running Green Wedding Photography, and we have won Best Wedding Photographer for Wrexham in the 2023 Hitched.com wedding awards.
