PETER RABBIT and Gruffalo themed fun is coming to Flintshire this summer in a bid to promote reading for children.
The Berwyn Bookshop and Caffi Isa CIC are coming together this August to stage events to inspire the love for books and to celebrate the birthday of author, Beatrix Potter.
The first event will take place on Thursday, August 3 at Mold's Caffi Isa which will feature storytime for children with a reading of 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit', as well as lunch and colouring activities before taking part in 'Mr McGregor's Garden Trail'.
There will even be an appearance from Peter Rabbit himself to greet the children.

Then, Thursday, August 17 will see a celebration of all things Gruffalo at Caffi Isa and will be a chance for children to immerse themselves in the world of Julia Donaldson.
Activities will include potion making – a nod to Room on the Broom, a Gruffalo Scavenger Hunt, and a reading area for children to enjoy a range of Julia Donaldson’s popular books.
