A COMMUNITY LED social enterprise near Mold has been awarded a top accolade.

Outside Lives have met the high standards needed to achieve the coveted Green Flag Community Award.

The group has achieved the award in recognition of its high environmental standards, cleanliness, safety, and community involvement.

A beautiful outdoor space developed and maintained by a team of volunteers and the local community, Outside Lives continues to build upon the great work carried out locally.

Outside Lives was set up in 2019 by founder Lucy Powell in Gwernymynydd with a focus on bringing together the local community through the environment and wellbeing.

Thanks to over £100,000 in National Lottery funding, the social enterprise has since flourished, with a number of projects being run in the Mold area, both at the charity’s site and on the road.
