WREXHAM AFC's Executive Director Humphrey Ker has touted star striker Paul Mullin for a role in Deadpool 3.

Ker spoke to TalkSPORT this morning (April 18) regarding all things Wrexham, including promotion, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's dressing room antics and Paul Mullin's film career.

The Reds Executive, who has become a firm fan favourite during his time at the club, was quizzed on whether Wrexham would feature in the latest Marvel film.

Deadpool 3, featuring Wrexham's co-chairman Reynolds, is set to hit cinemas in September next year.

The club did feature in the promo, which was eagerly spotted by co-chairman and Always Sunny creator Rob.

Ker however did not know if there would be a link to the club in the latest Deadpool film but backed (Super) Paul to make a guest appearance.

He said: "I don't know. I genuinely don't know for sure, I've not had the conversation but I would be quite surprised if not.

"Ryan is very good at you know, layering through all his part elements of his life and his career and everything, they all interconnect in all sorts of different ways.

"I think there were Aviation Gin references in the last one, I think. I'm sure they'll be, who knows, Paul Mullin to play an X-men?"
