Wrexham AFC have featured in Ryan Reynolds' new promo video for the release of Deadpool 3. 

The Reds' co-chairman, who plays Wade Wilson in the Marvel films, released a video last night confirming that Deadpool 3 would be hitting cinemas in September 2024

The new film will also feature a return to Marvel for Hugh Jackman who is coming back as Wolverine.

Wrexham's Hollywood connections are well known to the world, especially with the Welcome to Wrexham documentary. 

The club revealed the extent of the effect the documentary has had on the club in terms of merchandise sales of over £300k. 

Ryan made sure there was an appearance for the club in the promo, much to the delight of co-chairman Rob McElhenney.

During the video promoting Deadpool 3, Ryan can be seen donning a Wrexham AFC hat. 

In response to the video, Rob said: "Wrexham hat at :24 mark. That's all I could see. Was there anything else in the video?"

To which Ryan responded: "Wrexham training kit sponsor at :28. That's about it I think."

Ryan was making reference to the inclusion of an Aviation Gin bottle in the video. 

Deadpool 3 is set to hit cinemas on September 6, 2024, could there be a feature for Wrexham AFC in the film?
