Popular Wrexham takeaway Chip O Dee has raised hundreds for Nightingale House Hospice following a St David’s Day event.
The chip shop, on Borras Road just off Holt Road, has raised £500 for the hospice, who supported the fundraising event.
The event saw fish and chips at lunchtime on March 1 being sold at a reduced price.
The deal only ran from 11am to 2.30pm on the day and saw fish being sold at £3.50, chips at £1.50 and peas/curry for £1.

Chip O Dee, which was crowned Wrexham’s Favourite Kabab Shop in June 2022, said that 100 per cent of the money received on the day would go to the hospice.
Haci Deniz, the owner of Chip O Dee Said: “Thank you to all my amazing customers who came in and bought fish and chips from us to support Nightingale House Hospice
“Once again the people of Wrexham showing how amazing you are. Together we have raised a fantastic amount to help support such an amazing charity here in our town.”
