A GROUP of Canadian fans who recently visited Wrexham say they did so to support one of the club's owners who is from their country.

Vancouver-born Ryan Reynolds took over at the North Wales club along with friend and fellow actor Rob McElhenney in early 2021.

Since then, the club's popularity has reached unprecedented heights with the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary helping to boost its profile all around the world.

And, as such, the Racecourse ground has become home to many supporters who have made their way over from overseas recently.

Last month, a group of over 50 Canadian fans travelled to the ground to witness Wrexham's 4-1 FA Cup win over Farnborough.

The statement added: "He does a lot in Canada including raising awareness to a lot of issues and helping charities. This video says it all "We love u back".'

The supporters club enjoyed Wrexham's win in person before visiting the Turf pub after the match to soak up the atmosphere.
