WAS Wrexham AFC's comeback v Dover Athletic more epic than Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League fightback against Manchester City in midweek? The club certainly thinks so!

Real booked their place in the final of the prestigious tournament as they came from 5-3 down late on to win 6-5 in Extra Time.

Goals from substitute Rodrygo (90', 91') and a Karim Benzema penalty in ET secured a phenomenal turnaround.

As a result, Carlo Ancelotti's side will take on Liverpool in Paris on Saturday, May 28.

But, Wrexham reckon they have even the European giants beat when it comes to the greatest comeback of the season.

That is because, as many will recall, the Reds came from 5-2 down to beat Dover Athletic 6-5 in a National League thriller.

The club's social media team has put a montage of that memorable day together below ...

The Reds had led 2-0 through Paul Mullin (7') and James Jones (20') but after the Whites levelled by the break, found themselves 5-2 down early in the second half.

However, Wrexham managed to get the three points eventually after scoring the next four goals (Ollie Palmer 66', 69'), Jordan Davies (91') and the winner coming deep into added time through Davies again.
