OFFICERS have been actively monitoring areas in Wrexham this week following numerous traffic related complaints.
Residents in Rhosddu have reported 'inconsiderate parking' in residential areas.
North Wales Police have said cones are being used to block spaces which will be seized if the behaviour continues.
A statement reads: "We’d like to remind everyone that cones or other objects should not be used to reserve parking spaces on the public highway.
"While we fully understand the frustration of not always being able to park directly outside your home, placing cones to block spaces is an obstruction and constitutes an offence.
"Cones found being used in this way may be seized if this behaviour continues."
Officers are continuing to monitor a junction turning into Smithy Lane following reports of drivers incorrectly entering the service station.
