NORTH Wales Police have warned drivers following reports of an ongoing traffic issue in Wrexham.
Safety concerns have been raised to officers regarding Smithy Lane Junction near the Smithy View Service Station.
In a recent statement, a spokesperson said: "The right-turn lane heading from Wrexham towards the Gresford Roundabout is strictly for vehicles turning right into Smithy Lane only.
"Unfortunately, we’ve seen an increasing number of drivers travelling from Gresford towards Wrexham misusing this lane to turn across traffic into the service station.
"This is not permitted, highly dangerous, and constitutes a moving traffic offence."
