PLANS to replace the revolving glass door at Wrexham Maelor Hospital with a sliding door have been approved by the council.

A planning application was submitted to Wrexham County Borough Council in late 2024 to demolish the glass door at the entrance of the hospital.

The door was left badly damaged after a car crashed through it in December 2023 - and has remained out of use ever since.
