EAGLES MEADOW has confirmed the opening date for the new gym on site. 

UK-based fitness centre Foundry Gym is set to open it's doors on June 8, occupying the former Sports Direct unit (Unit B1B).

It will feature new state of the art equipment and will be open 365 days a year, 24/7.

Ahead of its grand opening, the gym is offering an exclusive membership discount for a limited time only with all details to be found on the 'Foundry Gym Wrexham' Facebook page.

Members will also benefit from free parking in the Eagles Meadow multi-storey car park.

Founder Joe Bland initially revealed they were hoping for an opening in early June, but a specific date was not announced. 

Bland also confirmed over £500,000 is being invested into the branch, which will be co-owned by Jennifer Mary Daniel and Ross Whetton, whose parents are originally from the Wrexham area.

Established in 2013, the 24-hour gym currently has several branches across the UK.
