THE MAYOR of Wrexham has visited a charity that is teaching children to stay safe in water.
Rossett Swimming Club was founded 42 years ago and is a charity which helps children learn to stay safe in water, while also having fun.
Earlier this month, Mayor of Wrexham Andy Williams stopped by to see some of their sessions unfold.
A spokesperson for Rossett Swimming Club said: "The Mayor got to see the children have fun swimming and take on life saving skills in their pyjamas.
"He also had the opportunity to talk with our chairperson, volunteers and of course the children too."
