A FLINTSHIRE bank is set to close temporarily next month so that a refit can take place.

HSBC in Mold will be closed temporarily from 2pm on Wednesday, April 17 until Tuesday, May 2 at 9.30am.

HSBC is investing in its Mold branch and the new refit will see multi-function devices inside the branch as well as one that will be external.

The external machine will be in the same place as the current external ATM.

And that machine will enable deposits as well as withdrawals to support customers outside of normal banking hours.

The last investment of its kind for the Mold HSBC branch came just last November.

That included a "much-needed" upgrade to the self-service equipment.

To support customers during the upcoming refit, there will be two pop-up branches held during the closure.

These will be offered at the Daniel Owen Centre on Friday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 24.

Alternatively, customers are advised to visit their next nearest branch over at Shotton.
