A TOWN centre is bank is temporarily closing its doors for "essential maintenance".

HSBC said its Mold town centre branch will be closed from November 15 to November 29.

The bank said it is "investing heavily" in the branch - which will see a "much-needed" upgrade to the self-serivce equipment.

This will include a new external ATM that will also mean customers can use this for deposits as well as withdrawals out of hours.

The nearest HSBC branch during the period of closure is on Chester Road West in Shotton.
