A WATER company has confirmed a burst pipe is causing disruption this morning on Mold Road in Wrexham.
Motorists have reported a burst water pipe to Hafren Dyfrdwy just before the roundabout on Mold Road in Gwersyllt.
Mold Road is temporarily closed due to the incident which occurred just before 5.30am this morning (February 22). Engineers are currently on site to clear the water.
Motorists are being encouraged to find an alternative route in the meantime. The road will reopen with some traffic management in place to allow the pipe to be fixed.

Shortly before 10am, a Hafren Dyfrdwy spokesperson said: “We have a team at Mold Road near Wrexham this morning making emergency repairs to a burst water pipe.
"Due to flooding as a result of the burst, which poses a safety risk to drivers, the road is currently closed while we clear this flood water.
“Once safe to do so, the road will be reopened with some traffic management while we complete the repair.
"We’re sorry for any inconvenience and will be working hard to get this repair made and everything back to normal as quickly as possible.”
In an earlier update to residents, a spokesman said: "We're pleased to inform you your water supply could be back on earlier than we expected although it may be intermittent for a little while."
