THERE's set to be a mixture of bright spells and heavy showers across Wrexham and Flintshire this weekend.
The Met Office is predicting a mixed weekend across both counties with temperatures set to drop.
The weather experts say there are chances of thunderstorms today (February 22) with temperatures dropping to around 8C.
It looks set to be a mixture of rain and sun from Friday through to Sunday with overnight frosts predicted with lows of -1C.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Today: Bands of showers sweeping eastwards, these often heavy with perhaps the odd thunderstorm.
"Some sunny spells by the afternoon. Turning colder with temperatures much lower than of late. Gusty winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
"Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Staying rather unsettled with bright intervals and scattered heavy showers, these wintry over the hills at first. Feeling colder than of late with overnight frosts possible. Breezy at times."
