THE UK's largest outdoor cinema experience will be making its way to Wrexham later this year.

An amazing few months of open-air cinema experiences awaits as Adventure Cinema launches its 6th summer season.

The team will be putting on a massive 260 screenings across 65 venues nationwide from Friday, May 10 onwards.

New stops on the tour include Cornwall’s prestigious botanical garden The Eden Project, Scotland’s beautiful Callendar Park, Stansted Park in Hampshire, Audley End House in Cambridgeshire, Bute Park in Cardiff and many more.

Tickets are now on sale, starting from a price of £9.50 per person.

And north Wales residents will be treated to the outdoor cinema experience right on their doorstep too, in both Chirk and Erddig Hall.

At Chirk, screenings will take place on the lawn behind the castle on the following dates:

  • Friday, May 17 - Top Gun
  • Saturday, May 18 - Dirty Dancing
  • Saturday, May 19 - Grease Sing-A-Long

Gates will open for 8pm on those nights with films starting at approximately 9:30pm.

And at Erddig, screenings are set to take place on the lawn in front of the hall as follows:

  • Friday, September 20 - Bohemian Rhapsody
  • Saturday, September 21 - Mamma Mia!
  • Sunday, September 22 - Pretty Woman

Gates will open for 6.15pm with films set to start for around 7.45pm.

Other movies being shown on the tour around the UK include: Back To The Future, Bridget Jones, Encanto, Finding Nemo, Frozen Sing-A-Long, Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone, Jurassic Park, The Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long, The Gruffalo and Stick Man.

Adventure Cinema Adventure Cinema was formed in 2019 by brothers Ben Lovell and Mark Thompson and has now grown to become the biggest outdoor cinema provider in the UK.

In 2023, the team delivered over 250 shows at venues nationwide for their biggest tour ever.
