Firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze in a Flintshire garden.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 10pm on Sunday, reporting the incident in Church Street, Connah's Quay.

One crew from Deeside attended the scene - to find the blaze had been a controlled fire by an occupier involving a quantity of household waste.

The flames had been extinguished by the time the crew arrived.

As such, the crew stood down with no action required.

Damage was limited to the household waste only.
