THE LEAD singer of a now world famous band, originally formed in Wrexham, says he has been 'overwhelmed' by the support shown for their new album.

These days, the pop-punk band Neck Deep is a household name all around the world.

They have released four albums since forming in 2012 and have toured the USA supporting the likes of Blink-182 and Lil Wayne along the way.

They have over 3.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with their top hit 'Wish You Were Here', racking up over 129 million plays.

2023 was another success story for the band who racked up 213 million streams and 14.7 million listeners from 182 countries worldwide in that year alone.

Now, 2024 is already starting with a bang with a US headline tour just around the corner.

And, to add to that, the band's self-titled album was released last Friday (January 19) to much praise from their loyal fans.

Lead singer Ben Barlow took to social media to thank those who have supported the album so far.

He said: "THANK YOU!!! Overwhelmed with the response to the release of our self titled album. We worked our asses of making this record and to finally see it being enjoyed out in the wild is the best feeling.

"Couldn't be more proud of as a band and for pulling through and believing in each other and making something that feels so true to ourselves.

"Super thankful to everyone who's given the record a spin and had kind words to say. This record is yours now, I hope it can be an arm round the shoulder in the bad times and the soundtrack to your best times."

The US headline tour in support of the self-titled album kicks off in Nashville on January 25 and wraps up in Chicago on February 25.

Gigs in Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, San Francisco, Dallas, and more will be held along the way.

Neck Deep was originally formed in Wrexham eleven years ago.

The band's current members are; Ben Barlow (lead vocals), Matt West (rhythm guitar), Sam Bowden (backing guitar) and Seb Barlow (bass guitar).
