A NOW world famous band originally from Wrexham is set for another incredible few weeks ahead.

Although originally formed in north Wales, these days, the pop-punk band Neck Deep is a household name all around the world.

They have released four albums since forming in 2012 and have toured the USA supporting the likes of Blink-182 and Lil Wayne along the way.

They have over 3.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with their top hit 'Wish You Were Here', racking up over 129 million plays.

2023 was another success story for the band who racked up 213 million streams and 14.7 million listeners from 182 countries worldwide in that year alone.

Now, 2024 is already starting with a bang with a new album coming out this week and a US headline tour just around the corner.

The band's hotly-anticipated self-titled album is due for release on Friday, January 19.

That will be followed up by the US headline tour in support of that album which kicks off in Nashville on January 25 and wraps up in Chicago on February 25.

Gigs in Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, San Francisco, Dallas, and more will be held along the way.

In an interview with Kerrang this month, ahead of the new album and the tour, lead singer Ben Barlow spoke of how close the band members have grown to one another over the years.

He said: "I think we’ve found a really happy place as a band. The start of the band was this rocket-launch trajectory, and now we’re cruising – we’re just in orbit.

"We’re in a good place and the band feels really good. We’ve been good friends for over 10 years, and we care about each other deeply. We’ve actually gotten really good within the last couple of years about just being very honest with each other – whether it’s about music, whether it’s about band stuff, or whether it’s personal, being able to be there and f*****g cry around each other and feel vulnerable.

"And I feel like we don’t really have anything to prove anymore – we can just keep doing our thing, and the pressure is off in that sense. We’ve hit a point where we don’t have anything to prove, and we’ve still got room to grow – so just keep doing it!"

He added: “I can’t imagine my life without Neck Deep. Like, it is my baby. It’s the thing that we all care about the most."

Neck Deep was originally formed in Wrexham eleven years ago.

The band's current members are; Ben Barlow (lead vocals), Matt West (rhythm guitar), Sam Bowden (backing guitar) and Seb Barlow (bass guitar).
