A MAN has been arrested in connection with two alleged knifepoint robberies in Wrexham.
Officers carried out a warrant at an address in Bryn Offa, Wrexham today (Thursday, January 11), where a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of two robberies in the city centre earlier this week.
Police said the first was reported to have happened at around 9.30pm on Monday, January 8 at a convenience store on Ruabon Road.

The second alleged incident at a convenience store on Norman Road was reported shortly before 9pm on Tuesday, January 9.
The man remains in custody whilst enquiries are ongoing, police said.
