Wrexham AFC has confirmed it has received council approval for the temporary stand on The Kop - which will be open at 80 per cent capacity for Saturday’s game against Newport County.

Following the club's announcement about the stand this morning, tickets will be available to buy online, for members only, from 4pm today (Thursday, December 21).

A spokesman for the club said: "Tickets are strictly only for members who have paid for full benefits – as previously communicated.

"Supporters who have purchased the 50 per cent off membership will only receive the benefits from January 2, 2024.

"Members must have bought their membership by 9am this morning.

"For this game only, tickets are available to buy online only as digital tickets and can be purchased from our eTicketing website. There will be no tickets available from the Club Shop."

Tickets cost £20 for an adult, £15 for over 65's and under 21's, £9 for under 18's and £6 for under 11's.

"For any assistance, please email ticketoffice@wrexhamafc.co.uk.

"There will be ten wheelchair accessible spaces available for this game.

Accessible tickets can be purchased online for this game, speeding up the ticketing process for supporters.

"We also have seating for ambulant disabled supporters, however, please note that there is only step access to these seats.

"All users who are eligible have already had their ticketing accounts updated with the required information and required number of companions.

"As such, users will simply need to login to their accounts and it will automatically pick-up whether they are an ambulant disabled customer, or wheelchair user and allow them access to select the area which meets their requirements."
