WREXHAM AFC fans are eager to see the finalised temporary Kop stand which is currently being built.

Plans were announced last week that construction would begin on a new 2,289 temporary stand behind the goal at the Racecourse.

Wrexham AFC have been sharing frequent updates and photos on their social media pages, keeping fans in the loop with the progress.

On X (formerly Twitter) a fan said: "It's going to be so good to see fans behind that goal again."

Another said: "What a day the 23rd will be with that view from the tech end."

While one fan said: "A thing of beauty, even if temporary."

The decision came following delays to the new 5,500 seater Kop Stand, which was meant to be in place for the start of next season.

The club said they wanted to allow more fans to see the Reds following increased ticket demand.

The club said it hoped the stand would be available for use from December 23, when they face off against Welsh rivals Newport County at the SToK Cae Ras.
