MOLD'S Festive Market returns with a twist as residents are encouraged to find Santa's Gonks to win a special prize.

On Sunday, December 10, Mold will be hosting a 'Gonk Hunt' alongside the festive market in an attempt to get everybody into the Christmas spirit.

The Mold festive market will be open from 10am until 5pm with a wonderful selection of outdoor and indoor stalls. Over 30 businesses will be attending from the community.

There will also be seasonal food and drinks, music and entertainment and festive crafts and gift stalls.

In preparation for the festive market, Santa’s naughty elves have also been around the town and hidden eight of Santa’s ‘Gonks’ inside the Mold retailers who are opening up on the 10th.

Unfortunately, Santa is far too busy to go around and collect them himself as on the day he will be inside the giant snow globe on Daniel Owen Square ready to have that special festive photo taken with you.

The ‘Santa Gonks’ are inside the participating shops and have a number on their hat. All participants need to do is find where they are hidden and write down the business name next to the number below and send back your entry.

Anyone can request an entry form here.

The Treasure Hunt is open to all ages, but only one entry per person is allowed. The ‘Santa Gonks’ will be in the shops from 10 until 15 December.

All entries need to be in by the closing date of midnight on December 15.
