AN APPEAL for information has been launched after a Flintshire surgery's windows were 'maliciously smashed' with bricks.
North Wales Police say the incident took place at Holywell's Pennant Surgery on Wednesday night (November 22).
Four were windows were smashed in what officers say was an 'act of criminal damage'.
PCSO James King, of the NWP North Flintshire team, labelled the incident as 'disheartening', adding that it is something that affects the 'whole community'.
He said that NWP are taking the incident 'very seriously' and has appealed for anyone with information which can help police to come forward.
PCSO King said: "We regret to inform you of an incident that occurred on Wednesday night, 22/11, At Pennant Surgery. Four windows were maliciously smashed with bricks."

He added: "This Act of criminal damage is not only a concern for Pennant Surgery but also impacts the entire community. We take such incidents very seriously, and this incident is being actively investigated.
"As residents of Holywell, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. 999 in an emergency and 101 for non-emergencies

"It is disheartening when our community faces such challenges, but by working together, we can overcome them. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding."
