WREXHAM AFC has confirmed that the club's hit docu-series Welcome to Wrexham will return for a third season.

The popular documentary has detailed the highs and lows of the Reds since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's Hollywood takeover.

The Deadpool star and Always Sunny creator took over the club in 2021 and has showcased Wrexham to the world.

The club has seen a huge shift in success on and off the field, gaining promotion to the EFL as well as growing a global audience.

The final episode of season two is set to air on Disney+ tomorrow (November 15) and ahead of the release, the club confirmed that there will be a third season.

A post on social media said: "Ready to put on a show FX’s “Welcome to Wrexham” will return for a third confirmed season on @hulu."

There had been reports that a third season was in the works, with filming taking place at games and events so far this season, but now official confirmation has arrived.

It is unsure when exactly season three will be on screens, but following the previous release dates, it is likely to be Autumn of 2024.

We all know how season two will end tomorrow, let's hope season three has a similar ending.
