PUBLIC libraries across the Wrexham area are inviting the public to visit as residents continue to struggle with the cost-of-living crisis.
From October 30, Wrexham Council will be offering a warm welcome scheme in all of their public libraries amid the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.
With many residents worried about heating their homes throughout the colder months, the council is utilising existing heated spaces where people are welcome to come to get warm and enjoy a tea or coffee.
Cllr David A Bithell, lead member for housing and chair of the cost of living working group said: “The cost-of-living crisis has left many local people worried about staying warm at home and this is only going to worsen as we move towards the winter months.
