This autumn saw thousands of the region's youngsters start primary school for the first time.

We take a look at the new starters in reception classes from across Wrexham and Flintshire, in the third of five photo galleries.

Here there are beaming smiles and bright school jumpers, as schools geared up to welcome their new arrivals.
