A DEVELOPER has revealed plans to build 70 homes in a Flintshire village.

Castle Green Homes has launched a public consultation over the proposals for land at Ewloe Green, Ewloe.

Planning documents on the company's website state that it plans to make 28 of the homes designated affordable housing.

The site, earmarked for development in Flintshire Council's Local Development Plan (LDP), is located near Green Lane and amounts to six acres. It consists of a number of existing dwellings and associated agricultural buildings, as well as fields used for grazing animals.

The six acres is proposed for the development of the new homes, and the remaining land planned to incorporate areas of public open space and to retain existing landscaping.
