QUAY Fine Dining is set to open its doors after months of being closed following a fire that broke out earlier this year.

On Monday, October 16 Quay Fine Dining will finally reopen to the public.

The popular restaurant announced its reopening on social media on Thursday (October, 12) after it closed in February due to a fire breaking out in the chip shop located within the building.

The team said: "It has been a long time coming and we would like to thank you for your patience."

The announcement has generated much excitement among residents in the Connah's Quay area with many eager to return for the quality food and service they know and love.

Julie Williams on Facebook said "Brilliant news, I can't wait" while Suzanne George said "Great news, see you all soon."

The chip shop, located inside Quay Shopping Centre in Ffordd Llanarth in Connah's Quay was forced to close in February this year after a fire.

Thankfully, nobody was injured during the incident, but the shop has remained closed ever since.

Last month, the venue started planning ahead by opening its Christmas bookings.

Loyal customers have been anticipating the shop's return for months and the re-opening is just a few days away.
