WREXHAM wellbeing hub is set to open a new 'safe space' café for the community.

Caffi Cyfle located in the wellbeing hub at Crown Buildings in Wrexham City Centre will open on Monday, September 25, at 9am.

Caffi Cyfle will be run by Groundwork North Wales, who have been running the cafe in Alyn Waters Country Park since 2019, and they are now ready to open the doors on this city centre venue.

They will offer breakfast until 10.30am and then paninis, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and sweet treats with a healthy twist for the rest of the day.

Alwyn Jones, chief officer for social care at Wrexham Council, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce, on behalf of the partnership between the Wrexham Council, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) and The Association of Voluntary Organisations Wrexham (AVOW) that Groundworks North Wales was the successful applicant to operate the café to be known as Caffi Cyfle within the Wellbeing Hub.
