THE MUCH-loved Wales Comic Con will be returning to Wrexham this weekend.

The popular convention temporarily moved from Wrexham University to Telford International Centre back in 2019, but made its long-awaited return to the north Wales venue in August of last year.

Formed in 2009, down the years it has proven to be one of Wrexham's most popular events on the calendar.

And this year - to be held at the university this weekend (September 2 and 3) - will be no different as guests cosplay their way to another memorable day and get the chance to meet some of their heroes.

As usual, Wales Comic Con's live Q&A panels will provide a rare chance for guests to connect with their favourite stars in a more personal way.

Above all, the event is seen as the perfect place to unleash your creativity and express yourself as your favourite character.

If you're feeling especially bold, you can even show off your costume on stage at the Masquerade for a chance to win some amazing prizes!
