A MAN has been arrested following an 'incident' in the Wrexham area this morning (July 6), police have now confirmed.
That led to officers enforcing road closures near Holt Road and was said to also have had an impact on the likes of Cefn Road.
Drivers and members of the public were urged to use alternative routes while the incident was dealt with by police.
North Wales Police have now confirmed a man has been arrested on suspicion of threatening behaviour and taken to custody.
The police added that this was an 'isolated incident'.

An initial statement from North Wales Police read: "Police are currently dealing with an incident on Holt Road Wrexham, necessitating road closures on adjacent roads, can members of the public use alternative routes to avoid the area."

An update posted at 8.15am read: "Morning – apologies for the early morning disruption on Holt Road – police activity is now standing down.
"An isolated incident and no risk to wider public – thank you for your understanding."
The latest update from North Wales Police reads: "We were in attendance to an isolated incident on Holt Road shortly after 6.30am this morning, which resulted in a road closure for a short while.
"A man is currently in custody having been arrested on suspicion of threating behaviour and the road has since reopened."
