NIGHTINGALE House Hospice is encouraging everyone to put on their dancing shoes for a sponsored Dance-A-Thon.

Whether it's an 8-hour dance relay, or a 4-hour non-stop dancing challenge, it couldn't be easier to get your dancing shoes on and take on the cha-cha-challenge for your local hospice.

The challenge is open to all dance styles and abilities and you can completely tailor your challenge to suit your group.

The challenge started on June 29 and will continue until midnight on September, 4. The entry fee is £5 per person with additional sponsorship forms provided for all.

Chloe Deacon, hospice fundraising organiser, said: "We’re so excited about this campaign and hope that many groups will engage with it. Dancing is so good for you both physically and mentally, and what better way to have fun, spread joy and raise money for a worthwhile cause.

"Nightingale House is a local hospice which has such a huge impact on people’s lives when they really need it most and we want to encourage people to be involved in paying forward for others to receive this vital treatment in the future too.

"There really is no better thing, and how great to experience it as a community, doing something you love."

This is the first time the hospice is holding the challenge. They wanted to create a community challenge and leave it open for people to interpret it how they like.
