A NEW shop has opened in Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham, and is already proving to be popular among gothic and horror fans.

Skellytones launched its shop on Saturday, June, 24, selling official gothic gifts, homeware, horror and heavy metal merch, as well as alternative clothing and shoes.

The shop is situated round the side of Bar Sgwar (Square Bar).

The Leader:

Katie Jarvis, shop owner, announced the launch of her store on Facebook which has already proven popular among Wrexham residents.

She said: "People of Wrexham you have been incredible! We have been so busy we forgot to eat. It's been brilliant meeting and chatting with all of you. Thank you so much for the support.

"Thank you to all of you that have waited patiently whilst we have rummaged through boxes to find your sizes. You're all amazing!"

The shop is open late on Wednesday along with other traders and the food court, opening from 10am until 1pm and then re-opening at 4.30pm before closing at 8pm.

The shop opening has generated much excitement from the Wrexham and gothic communities, with people being tagged in the post and many wishing her the best of luck with the new venture.

Jodie Wright said on Facebook: "Are you taking best friend applications? If so, where do I sign up! I've been dying for a shop like this."

Hannah Gater said: "Finally, my sort of shop."

Before the shop opened, orders could be placed online. Katie is hoping the success of the physical shop will continue to grow in the coming weeks and months.
