WREXHAM AFC's players are set to be heading for a post-season party in Las Vegas following their final game of the season.

The newly crowned champions head to Plainmoor on Saturday for their final game in the National League.

After wrapping up the title against Boreham Wood last weekend, players and fans can enjoy the game by the coast knowing that they will be playing in League Two next term.

The 3-1 win at the Racecourse sparked mass celebrations in the town with players and fans seen enjoying each other's company on Saturday night and Sunday.

An open-top bus parade has been confirmed to take place on Tuesday, to give the fans a chance to enjoy one last celebration with both the men's and women's sides.

The celebrations won't end there for the players, however, who are set to be heading to Las Vegas for their end-of-season party.

Shaun Harvey, an advisor to the board told The Athletic: "There is a trip to Las Vegas being mooted."

The sports website also reports that the squad is set to share a £200,000 bonus.

The Reds will be back stateside in July as part of their pre-season tour, with games against Chelsea and Manchester United lined up.
