AN OPEN bus parade will take place to celebrate Wrexham AFC's promotion back to the Football League and women's team's title success.
Wrexham County Borough Council confirmed the news on Wednesday evening.
It will take place on Tuesday, May 2. Buses carrying players from both the men’s and women’s teams will slowly work their way around the city centre to celebrate with fans.
The event is set to start at around 6.15pm and will take around an hour – offering plenty of opportunities for people to see the players and cheer them along.
The exact route and key viewing points will be announced later this week, and the council will be encouraging fans to spread themselves along the whole of the route.
