NEW five-star food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 of Flintshire’s establishments. 

According to the Food Standards Agency, the following restaurants, cafes, pubs and takeaways have recently received the top rating following inspection:

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Alexander's at 52 High Street, Mold; rated on April 13

• Rated 5: Just Steak at 56 High Street, Mold; rated on March 31

• Rated 5: Belvedere Italian Restaurant at 85 Wrexham Street, Mold; rated on March 29

• Rated 5: Honey's Bakery & Riverside Cafe at Bridge End, Caergwrle; rated on March 29

• Rated 5: Tearooms in the Pet Cemetery at Coetia Mawr, Brynford Hill; rated on March 24

• Rated 5: Coleg Cambria Y Celstryn Restaurant at Kelsterton Road, Connah's Quay; rated on March 22
