The families of Hollywood Wrexham AFC co-owners joined them at the match yesterday(Saturday, March 25) where they saw a 3-0 win.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were joined by their families for a weekend of football, which started with Wrexham AFC’s match against York City and will see the A-listers attend today’s women’s match.

Yesterday saw the return of goalkeeper Ben Foster, who came out of retirement to join the club, along with an own goal for the away side four minutes in, followed by goals from Sam Dalby and Elliot Lee.

A total of 10,161 attended the match, with 1,000 of them being away fans.

Wrexham remains three points ahead of Notts County, and top of the league table, with a game in hand.

Following the match, Rob McElhenney posted a picture of his son on Twitter, where he is on the pitch kicking a football.

The caption read: “‘Hey Dad, is this heaven?’” ‘No, son. It’s Wales’”

Ryan then responded: “This is my favorite tweet ever.”

The co-owners have previously confirmed that they will be attending today’s match against Connah’s Quay Nomads, which will be played at the Racecourse in front of a record-breaking crowd.

The match kicks off at 2pm and tickets are available via the club.
