WREXHAM AFC are top of an impressive list, which has a smile on co-chairman Rob McElhenney's face.

The Reds have been in imperious form so far this season, which has resulted in them being sat top of the National League with two months of the season to go.

Phil Parkinson's men are in a close title race with Notts County, with both sides eyeing up a return to the Football League.

The pair are on course to break a number of National League records while they're at it.

It's not just the league that Wrexham sit top of, they are also the team with the best points per game ratio in the top five tiers of English football.

The Reds are above some impressive names in the top five, including Arsenal and Manchester City.

The statistic and performance of Wrexham has certainly pleased the Always Sunny star who said: "Not sure who those other clubs are but @Wrexham_AFC and @Official_NCFC look pretty good this season :)."

Rob will be hoping that the Reds can continue their electrifying form until the end of the season and can end the 15 year stay in the National League.
