WREXHAM AFC has praised the 'outstanding support' shown for their players during their Valentine's night clash v Woking.

The Reds were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw in their latest National League match, meaning that their 100% winning record at home for the season came to an end.

The result left Phil Parkinson's side in second place in the table, five points behind league-leaders Notts County but with two games in hand.

As always, the Racecourse was buzzing - and not even Valentine's Day could get in the way of a bumper crowd!

Wrexham AFC confirmed that a total of 10,030 supporters were in the stands to witness the action unfold.

Taking to Twitter, the club wrote: "Outstanding support inside the Racecourse Ground."

Attendance figures are being broken left, right and centre at the Racecourse this season.

Passing the 10,000 supporter mark has become the norm as Wrexham once again push for a return to the English Football League.

The club's popularity has gone through the roof since the takeover by Ryan Ryenolds and Rob McElhenney and since the Welcome to Wrexham documentary gained international success.
