WREXHAM fans have been waving goodbye to the Racecourse's old Kop over the past few weeks as the demolition takes place.

Plans to re-develop the Kop were given the green light by Wrexham Council's planning committee in November 2021.

And, since December 2022, plenty of work has been taking place at the north Wales ground.

There is, of course, the sadness at its destruction, but there should also be plenty of hope and excitement for what lies ahead in the future for the club and the ground.

Recently, readers have been sending in pictures of their barriers they have managed to obtain from the original Kop.
