Ryan Reynolds has once again been speaking about his love for Wrexham AFC.

During last night's FA Cup draw, broadcasted live from the Racecourse, Mark Chapman joked that Ryan was 'too busy' on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to be in attendance.

Instead of helping magic Mickey Thomas and Jermaine Beckford pick the balls out of the hat, Ryan was on American TV discussing his new movie 'Spirited', his children, and his beloved Wrexham.

While Mickey managed to draw the Reds at home to Farnborough in the next round of the cup, Ryan was promoting his new film Spirited, when the topic of Wrexham AFC arose.

When asked 'you're an owner of a professional soccer team' by Jimmy Fallon, Ryan responded: "Yes, Wrexham AFC. Me and Rob McElhenney, it is a big deal, we're very excited."

Despite saying he has no clue what he is doing, Ryan touched on what makes Wrexham so attractive.

He added: "It's kind of absurd, but I do know about storytelling. Most organisations grow and are built on best practices and I think it's overlooked often about how important storytelling is to sports.

"Sport is driven by emotion, but storytelling can grow a sports club in a really beautiful and distinctly amazing way, so I love that about it.

"Rob and I both love everything about Wrexham for that reason."

With Wrexham now 90 minutes away from an FA Cup third round tie against a potential Premier League club, Ryan and Rob will be hoping for some more Hollywood storytelling opportunities with a giant-killing.
