AN ATTENDANCE record has been broken once again at the Racecourse this weekend.

Wrexham beat Altrincham 4-0 in their latest National League match played at their home ground on Saturday (October 29).

An Ollie Palmer double, a Paul Mullin overhead kick and a fine finish from James Jones were enough to keep Wrexham in second place in the league table.

And, as always, the support shown for the club was staggering.

A season-high attendance was set just last week, in the 3-1 win over Halifax Town, when 10,039 spectators watched on from the stands.

But, that was topped once more in the Altrincham victory as the club confirmed the Racecourse attendance as 10,107.

The club's popularity has continued to sky-rocket ever since the takeover by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in early 2021.

That, coupled with the hugely-successful Welcome to Wrexham documentary, has arguably taken the Reds' reputation to unprecedented levels.
