Fans of Welcome to Wrexham were given a treat this week with four episodes being dropped, here's what we learned from episodes 14 and 15.

The second two of the four released this week, titled "Hollywood Distraction" and "Daggers" premiered on Disney+ on Thursday.

Episode 14 is my favourite episode so far. It highlights Ryan Reynolds' trip to Wrexham for the Stockport game in the FA Trophy, much to the displeasure of co-chairman Rob McElhenney.

Episode 15 focuses on the title challenge at the back end of the season, culminating in Wrexham's trip to Dagenham and Redbridge on the final day.

Wrexham's docuseries has proved a huge hit since its release in August, with it generating worldwide interest in the club and greatly increasing merchandise sales.

Here are five things we learned from episodes 14 and 15.

1. Ryan in action

One-half of Wrexham's Hollywood ownership is in town at the start of episode 14.

Ryan Reynolds was at the Racecourse filming an advert, in which he included Wrexham AFC.

You get to see Ryan in the changing room with a number of players, rolling through outtakes, until they got the finished product.

The visit didn't go down too well with Wrexham's Physio Kev Mullholland, which Rob is quick to highlight later on.

2. There's only one Rob McElhenney

While all the attention is on Ryan's visit to the Racecourse, Rob is hilarious as he commentates throughout the episode, in an attempt to recreate 'The Last Dance'.

While Ryan was in Wrexham having 'the time of his life', Rob was left frustrated that he too wasn't there.

The number of hugs that Ryan got following the game against Stockport, certainly seem to hit a nerve.

The jokes did ease, as Rob later discussed his love for his co-chairman.

3. Ryan's love for Wrexham

Near the end of Episode 14, you get a glimpse at how invested Ryan is in the town and the project.

While it was Rob's idea to buy the club, and his affection is already well known, it perhaps took Ryan a little bit longer to convince.

It seems that afternoon at the Racecourse turned the tide for the Deadpool star.

Ryan discusses the effect the game had on him, stating he could 'feel it in his bones'.

His embraces with players and staff at full-time, highlight how lucky the club is to have its Hollywood owners.

4. That Stockport game

Episode 15 focuses on the last two games of Wrexham's season, as they push title rivals Stockport all the way.

The clash between the two sides at the Racecourse is a highlight and brings back memories of the excitement in the town at the time.

With the potential of Stockport winning the title, Wrexham brushed them aside, running out 3-0 winners.

While it may have ended with Stockport lifting the title, it was still some Sunday afternoon at the Racecourse.

5. Red Army

The final game of the season against Dagenham and Redbridge didn't go to plan, with the Reds losing 3-0.

However, episode 15 focuses on the immense support Wrexham fans showed throughout the season.

That support was summarised with the full-time scenes at Dagenham, when the 2,000 Wrexham fans remained in the ground, singing their hearts out despite being beaten 3-0.

Phil Parkinson speaks fondly of the Red Army and Rob and Ryan say that the 'why Wrexham' question, was answered that day.

The scene will give you goosebumps.
